• Managed a DOD SkillBridge internship program that grew 400% in its first year; expanded to serve 24 interns simultaneously in 3 different roles (marketing, candidate aggregation and IT support). • Provided employment services including resume reviews, interview coaching, professional networking assistance and direct employer referrals for interns resulting in a 95% placement rate and an average starting salary of $65,000. • Delivered a weekly live broadcast on LinkedIn Live hosting thought leaders and influencers from private, public, and non-profit sectors delivering lessons learned for job seekers, reaching an audience of more than 30,000 viewers in 2022. • Expanded Skillbridge program from serving three installations in 2021 to more than 40 installations in 2023, including all branches of the United States military.
Lucas Connolly attended and graduated from the University of New Hampshire, earning a commission from the Wildcat Battalion's Army ROTC program as a Send Lieutenant in the US Army Field Artillery. He retired in 2016 after a career in the Army that included overseas assignments in Europe and Asia as well as two combat tours in Afghanistan (2010, 2012) and two more combat tours in Iraq (2003, 2006). Lucas made use of the DOD SkillBridge program to transition from his military career to a civilian career, working for Kraft-Heinz Foods Company. Lucas returned to his true passion, "taking care of Soldiers" first as a Transition Assistance Program counselor on Fort Drum and later as installation program manager. Currently, Lucas works for RecruitMilitary as a SkillBridge Program Manager, helping service members find internship opportunities and helping employers build great programs and opportunities. Lucas lives in Rochester NH with his three children, fiancé and one very energetic black lab. In that community
