With great pride, I nominate Richard Comitz for the 2025 Military Friendly Veteran of the Year award. A remarkable leader, dedicated Veteran, and humble servant, Rich has impacted thousands of lives as Chief Operating Officer at American Corporate Partners (ACP).
Under his steady leadership, ACP helped more than 3,085 Veterans secure meaningful employment in the past year alone—an achievement made even more impressive by the average starting salary of $90,000. These life-changing outcomes directly result from Rich’s leadership, operational excellence, and belief that failure is not an option.
Beyond employment, Rich led our team in facilitating over 120,000 Buddy Checks—personal outreach calls conducted by our staff and volunteers to more than 4,600 Veterans. These check-ins provided support, connection, and care when many needed it most. Rich never sought recognition for this work; instead, he quietly empowered others, ensuring every Veteran felt seen, heard, and valued.
Through his tireless efforts, ACP earned national recognition with the Congressional Medal of Honor Society’s Citizens Award—an honor selected from more than 400 applicants. Rich exemplifies the essence of servant leadership. He leads not for personal gain, but to uplift others. He models humility in every decision, and his selflessness drives impact far beyond what metrics can measure.
Rich deserves the title of Veteran of the Year for his enduring commitment to those who have served and the lives he’s helped transform.
