Selected as VFW Accredited Service Representative 2022-2023
As an Accredited Veterans Service Officer, I manage and oversee a the Portland, Oregon VFW Service Office co-located with the Veterans Affairs Regional Benefits Office. I guide veterans through the claims and appellate processes as well as advise Oregon Veterans of their rights under law. I have BS degree in Technology Management from George Fox University. My experience a US Army Commissioned Officer and a Project Manager has empowered me to lead a VSO team in assisting a population of around 8000 Oregon Veterans with claims, appeals, and hearings. I currently serve Oregon Veterans a VFW Department of Oregon State Service Officer. As a VA Accredited Veterans Officer I assist veterans with their interactions with to US Department of Veterans Affairs, especially with the Veterans Benefits Administration. I was selected as the VFW Accredited Service Officer of the year for program year 2022-2023. I am a Competent Toastmaster, former Post commander for VFW Post 180 and Former Oregon District Commander for District 15. I am a member of the VFW, DAV, MOAA and AUSA.
