Tim’s 20-year military career was built on service, leadership, and commitment—qualities that continue to define his impact in the civilian world. After transitioning from the military, Tim experienced firsthand the challenges Veterans face in translating their skills into the civilian workforce. Rather than letting that struggle define him, he turned it into a mission to serve others.
Tim founded Major Talent to solve a pressing need in the Veteran community: the gap between military experience and civilian employment. Under his leadership, Major Talent has helped thousands of Veterans by translating military careers into civilian terms, building competitive resumes, and creating a direct channel between Veterans and employers. This model not only improves employment outcomes for Veterans but also educates and empowers companies to recognize the value of military experience.
Tim’s work has earned widespread recognition within the Veteran and business communities. The success and scalability of Major Talent, along with its clear social impact, reflect a track record of meaningful achievement. Tim is also known for his volunteerism and advocacy within Veteran networks, supporting initiatives that promote smoother transitions, mental wellness, and economic stability for those who have served.
Major Talent represents the best of what a Veteran-owned business can achieve: purpose-driven leadership, sustainable growth, and lasting community impact. Tim’s unique combination of personal experience, professional excellence, and unwavering dedication to his fellow Veterans makes him a standout candidate for the Vetrepreneur® of the Year Award.
Major Talent
20 years of military service easily turns into a lifetime of service to others. I have been blessed to consistently think outside the box on how things are done today vs where they could be. This approach help me in the service with 3 "best practices", discovered through inspections and somebody else realizing there is validity to my unique perspectives. This unusual approach is ONLY possible when you are surrounded by people who accept this and encourage it. My family has come to embrace it and even encourages it! I am thankful to everybody around me who has encouraged and enabled me to help make lives easier for others.
