Was recognized as the 2023 SBA Small Business Champion (Iowa) for starting a Veterans IT Training Company and showing other veterans how the SBA could help them get started. Recieved a second ESGR Seven Seals Award for working with Reservist, Guardsman and their Employers for the last 20 Years and multiple deployments. Disitingushed Veteran Alumi from the University of Iowa College of Education for my work with Student Veterans and their communities.(Was a Co Founder of Student Veterans of America). Association of Fund Raising Professionals Benjamin Franklin Philanthropy Award for the Iowa Citt VHA Research Foundation and Community Veterans Support. We still facilatate Veterans Workshops for Writing My Way Back Home and have started an Art Studio for Veterans in the Veterans Liberty Center
